Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Coordination of all excursions
  • Liaising with local suppliers (reconfirmation of reservations, buses, guides…)
  • Coordinating and ensuring smooth excursions procedures
  • Proactive approach for problem solving
  • Maintains updated and accurate filing system for reference
  • Performs all other related duties as requested by the Management
  • Allocation and procedures for tour guides

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with local suppliers (reconfirmation of reservations, buses, guides…)
  • Coordination of all excursions
  • Instructing and briefing local guides prior to excursions
  • Organisation of disembarkation and embarkation
  • Ensure smooth dispatch and operation of all excursions
  • Shuttle bus operation were applicable (organisation, booking, control)
  • Has in depth knowledge of the product, destinations & procedures
  • Has the skills to deal with difficult passengers and/or situations with grace, professionalism and rational thinking and to present/conduct solutions
  • Hosting/Dining with guests
  • Supervises his/her team and coaches them on all duties, monitors their quality of work and evaluates them
  • Supervises sales of the excursion office and takes proactive action to promote excursions (gives Talks, Promotions, Sales) and is responsible for meeting revenue targets
  • Monitors quality of our standards and reports any deviation from our standards

MICE Operations Manager

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the Meetings, Incentive, Conventions and Exhibitions sector.
  • Proven experience of developing and implementing a strategic plan to increase sales and incremental business.
  • Ability to quickly understand the opportunities and shape the role.
  • Excellent knowledge of the European Business Events landscape with a wide-ranging and well-established network of European contacts among PCOs, and other buyers. Specific knowledge of the Association market will be advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate reports and execute clear presentations.
  • Ability to engage with and influence internal & external stakeholders at every level, with a client-oriented approach.
  • Tourism or business degree desirable.
  • Knowledge of various languages will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency across key Microsoft Office applications and use of CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Work with a collaborative team spirit focused on service delivery to both internal and external clients.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast evolving work environment.
  • Able to focus on a clear goal in all actions and decisions and openly articulate this to your team colleagues.
